And after chilling out in their enclosure\, our goats appreciate the change of pace. \nAll goat walks are at Sentient Sanctuary: 445 Glendower Rd\, Scottsville VA 24590 \nFor details and to book a walk\, select a date: 5/2\, 5/30\, 9/19\, 10/10 \nWe’re only 25 minutes from Charlottesville. Goat walks are $20 per person. Boots or long pants are advised. Our walks take about 45 minutes and cover only a quarter mile\, so not too strenuous. We (and all of our friendly animals) look forward to meeting you! \nSentient Sanctuary is a nonprofit think tank and animal sanctuary in Scottsville. So c’mon out and join the fun at any time of day on Saturday and Sunday\, August 1–2. \nWe donate the peaches. The Lions make and sell the ice cream. The proceeds go right back into the Crozet and Western Albemarle community. And you get to enjoy fresh homemade peach ice cream. Everybody wins! \nWe will also have our usual soft serve ice cream and milkshakes available. Enjoy live music from 1–4 PM on both days of the event.
