CharlottesvilleFamily Magazine is thrilled to launch Moms Lit Society: Books After Bedtime—a quarterly book club designed to help you relax, recharge, and connect with other thoughtful women in our community. Whether you’re a bookworm, audiobook lover, or just in it for the laughs and camaraderie, this is your space to slow down and savor the simple pleasure of a great story.
And the best part? Every title we read is written by a Virginia woman author, shining a spotlight on incredible local talent.
When & Where
Moms Lit Society meets quarterly at 6:30pm at Starr Hill Brewery inside Dairy Market—a cozy, welcoming space where you can enjoy a drink, browse books, and join in meaningful conversation.

May Moms Lit Society Meeting
Join us on May 12 for a book club featuring New York Times bestselling author Sadeqa Johnson’s The Keeper of Lost Children. Lyrical and emotional, Johnson’s novel follows three characters in the years after World War II, exploring how countless lives can be transformed by the vision of a single person and the many forms that love can take.
