CharlottesvilleFamily Magazine is thrilled to launch Moms Lit Society: Books After Bedtime—a quarterly book club designed to help you relax, recharge, and connect with other thoughtful women in our community. Whether you’re a bookworm, audiobook lover, or just in it for the laughs and camaraderie, this is your space to slow down and savor the simple pleasure of a great story.
And the best part? Every title we read is written by a Virginia woman author, shining a spotlight on incredible local talent.
When & Where
Moms Lit Society meets quarterly at 6:30pm at Starr Hill Brewery inside Dairy Market—a cozy, welcoming space where you can enjoy a drink, browse books, and join in meaningful conversation.

August Moms Lit Society Meeting
Join us on August 25 for a book club featuring Elizabeth Becker’s The Moonlight Healers. Elizabeth Becker’s debut novel follows generations of women bound by a secret gift of healing, intertwining World War II France and present-day Appalachia to explore family legacy, sacrifice, and the fragile balance between life, death, and love.
