Lunar New Year Celebration

Best for ages 4-10 but all are welcome.  Registration is recommended but not required.

Welcome the Year of the Horse and learn about the Lunar New Year with students from Albemarle High School’s National Social Studies Honors Society! Students will be on hand to teach you about various traditions around the Lunar New Year: make a paper lantern, hear a story about celebrations, color Chinese zodiac characters, and taste traditional foods, all while learning about the Asian cultures that celebrate and honor the Lunar calendar.
