Family Music Classes in Charlottesville & Crozet

Blue Ridge Music Together offers joyful, research-based music classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grown-ups who love them. Serving families across Charlottesville and Crozet, this award-winning program nurtures children’s natural musical ability by leading the adults in modeling musical behavior for the children in a playful, engaging way. No experience necessary, just a love of making music with your little ones.

What to Expect in a Music Together® Class

Each 45-minute class invites families to sing, dance, play instruments, and explore rhythm through developmentally appropriate activities. The mixed-age format (birth to 5 years) encourages learning through imitation and shared fun—perfect for siblings.

Enrollment includes:

• A professionally recorded CD and illustrated songbook
• Digital access via the Hello Everybody app
• Ten weeks of weekly in-person sessions (seasonal enrollment)

A free trial class is available to help new families get started.

Meet the Instructors

Led by co-directors David Berzonsky and Estela Knott, Blue Ridge Music Together features a dedicated team of certified educators who bring warmth, cultural diversity, and musical passion to every class. Whether playing Latin American folk songs or classic children’s tunes, their goal is to help every child—and parent—feel successful and connected through music.
