For Glaze:
2cupspowdered sugar
1/4cupwater
2dropsgreen gel food coloring
Instructions
For Cakes:
Use a shamrock cookie cutter to cut through the pound cake.
Slice the piece into thirds so you can make a TRIPLE layer cake.
Combine vanilla frosting with the green food coloring to decorate your Shamrock Petit Fours Recipe.
Gently spread the green frosting on each layer and stack the pieces together.
For Glaze:
Combine powdered sugar, water and green gel food coloring until smooth. Add water a little at a time to the powdered sugar until you get your desired consistency. Then add food coloring.
To glaze the cakes, slowly pour the glaze over the cake and use a mini spatula or spoon to help glaze reach the sides of the cake.
Add a few small pearl sprinkles for a pretty garnish on top.
