Charlottesville’s Music Resource Center (MRC) is a safe, diverse, and creative community where 6th-12th graders learn, grow, and make music together. MRC is accessible to all. Guided by our core values of creativity, access, and community, MRC is committed to enhancing the lives of youth through musical engagement. These values are the foundation of all our initiatives and reflect our dedication to fostering a nurturing environment.

We offer a dynamic space where members engage in hands-on music creation and performance. Members do not just learn and play instruments – they engage as artists, creators, and storytellers.

We believe every youth deserves the chance to explore and excel in music without barriers. Affordability ensures that every young person in our community can access Music Resource Center programs.
