Charlottesville, VA – January 17, 2025 – CharlottesvilleFamily Magazine is thrilled to announce the inaugural KidFest & Camp Expo, a reimagined and exciting evolution of our beloved Fun Fair & Camp Expo! Join us on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Piedmont Family YMCA for a day of fun, exploration, and valuable resources for families in Central Virginia.
This dynamic event will feature everything parents and children need to plan a memorable summer and beyond. With an expanded focus, KidFest includes:
- Summer Camp Showcases: Meet with representatives from day and overnight camps offering a range of interests—from sports and arts to STEM and adventure.
- Kids’ Activity Zone: Engage in hands-on activities, crafts, games, and interactive demonstrations designed to entertain and inspire.
- Community Connections: Learn about after-school programs, enrichment opportunities, and family-friendly resources in the Charlottesville area.
The KidFest & Camp Expo is a family-friendly event designed to make planning summer activities stress-free and fun. Parents can talk directly with camp directors and service providers while children enjoy activities and giveaways. Local businesses, nonprofits, and organizations will also be on-site to connect with the community.
